I think the Sephora gods must be pleased with me...or they are expecting a sacrifice sometime in the near future.
I received a coupon with $15 VIB Dollars to spend and a couple days later I received 2nd coupon with $20 VIB Dollars to spend as well.
The $15 VIB Dollars went to a gift for a family member.
The $20 VIB Dollars weren't so lucky - I traded them in for the YSL 2009 Holiday Collection.
I was looking to take advantage of the YSL F&F 20% off online discount but I realized everything I wanted was available at Sephora and with the VIB $20 my discount at Sephora could be anywhere from 30-50% off. See? Mama was right - math is important!

Ebates for Beauty Buys!
Ok if you don't have an Ebates account yet, you MUST get one!
Ebates gives you cash back on every online purchase you make with their ginormous list of participating merchants. The cashback you get can range anywhere from 1-10% of the total purchase price depending on the merchant. If you regularly make online purchases, you must sign up! Actually if you make any online purchases, you must sign up because it's free and you get some of your hard earned moola back.
I used to adore Sephora because they had a whopping 8% cashback but starting in September they dropped it to 4% cashback. I'm so pissed - Grrr! But I digress...
As long as the you have at least $5.01 cashback, Ebates will send you your cashback quarterly or every 3 months. If you have less than $5.01, the cashback just rolls over and is added to the next quarter's check. You also have several options on how to cashout. You can have a check mailed directly to you, you can have the $$ credited to your PayPal account, and they're always coming up with new ways to let you cashout (it's all explained here).
Ok this is muy importante so listen up! You must remember to

and go to the store you plan to make purchases at via the links on Ebates. This is the only way they can track your purchase and give you cashback. If you go directly to the store's webpage and make your purchase, Ebates won't know about it and you won't get the cashback. This sounds simple enough but I can't tell you how many times I completely forgot to sign in to Ebates first and totally missed the cashback.
If you refer a friend to join Ebates, you and friend get $5 added to your account. If you consider me a friend, I'd really love it if you'd use this link to sign up for your Ebates account.

Bath & Body Works Buy 1 Get 1 Free!
**UPDATE** As of 04/15, the 3rd party products are now 50% off at flagship Bath&Body Works.

For a full review of the products shown in the pic: Lippmann Collection Rich Girl, Phyto Hair Products, Kose Skincare Products and Molton Brown Hand Wash.
While on a LUSH craving I went to the mall, I wandered into Bath & Body and came upon some sad news. They're discontinuing all Bath & Body third party products! Boo! All third party items are currently Buy 1 Get 1 Free! Yippee! This means huge savings (50% off) and I may have to say buh-bye to the upcoming Saks F&F. At the very least I will have to cut back on the "I just want to give it a try" items.
The discount applies to all thrid party brands such as Ahava, Caudalie, Frederick Fekkai, Henri Bendel, Kose, Phyto, Molton Brown, etc... The list just goes on! The store manager told me this will take place at all the flagship stores and they hope to have the shelves cleared by mid-May earliest or the Semi-Annual Sale in June latest (that's shop-speak for steeper discounts to come!!).
I'm not quite done with my Bath and Body raid either. I have a lot more to stock up on as I really do enjoy all these products. I'll do a proper review of all the products shown in upcoming posts!
